About Me

Saundra is a clinical esthetician of 35 years and a CT licensed tattoo artist performing permanent makeup (PMU) for 20+ years. She formed Dermasology®️ in the early 2000’s for the purpose of addressing the needs of her clients. Her dedication lies in improving and transforming skin health and simplifying beauty routines.

Saundra received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Thomas Edison State College and her Master of Science in Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport.

In addition, she has performed in-depth specialization and training in a wide variety of eclectic studies. These include: skin care at Elizabeth Grady School of Esthetics, Macrobiotics at the Kushi Institute, and PMU studies with SofTap, BocaTa2, PhiBrow and Nouveau Contour USA.

Permanent Makeup of Eyebrows

Permanent makeup (PMU) is a specialty of tattooing specifically for the face. PMU introduces FDA approved inks into the skin via fine needles. Eyebrows done in Microblading (manual) immitate the look and pattern of natural hair, whereas eyebows done in Nano/Powder (machine) appear penciled or powdered.

Permanent Makeup of Eyeliner and Lip Color

Eyeliner and Lip Color are both performed with FDA approved inks, but done only with the machine. Eyeliner thickness and density of color will vary with skin tone/texture and age appropriateness. Lip Color is more accurately referred to as Lip Tint when healed as it becomes a much softer version of the implanted color due to the nature of the tissue.

Chemical Peels

These quick and efficient treatments lift off dead skin cells, soften clogged oils, target melanocytes to decrease hyperpigmentation and open the skin to take in moisture and treatment products. They are ideal for all skins-acne, rosacea, aging, melasma, even healthy non-problematic skin. Each peel treatment is specific to the client and consists of proper cleansing, dermaplaning, acid application, extracting and deep rehydrating. Mild redness, peeling and dryness can be expected for 2-3 days as the dead skin cells continue to shed. Dramatic improvement in skin clarity and texture follows!

Meet my business partner DNP©, Lenore Crosson. We have worked together for 10 years and finally partnered in 2020. Together we are a boutique office offering esthetic medical services that dramatically improve our client’s appearances while simplifying their routines and their lives. Between the two of us we have over 60 years of experience in dermatology, clinical skin care, and medical esthetics. We have a particular interest in addressing the needs of both our maturing clients, as well as more youthful clients embarking in medical esthetics.
